Clearview Cassette (v.1.2)
The Clearview Cassette is the primary Building Block of the FieldSmart Fiber management architecture. As the only architecture in the industry that scales from 12 to 1768 ports across the inside plant, outside plant and access networks, Clearfield provides the service provider with the proven means by which to align their investment in capital equipment alongside subscriber turn-up revenue.
In addition to a number of workmanship enhancements to continually improve the technician’s ease-of-use in the field, Clearview Cassette 1.2 builds upon the “Any Application, Anywhere Multiplier” feature-set of the original Clearview Cassette. The original design consisted of a system of 5 parts that fully nest together to support any application. Clearview 1.2 adds an optional sixth component, the Clearview Expansion Ring.
The Clearview Expansion Ring provides two advancements to the original design:
1) By integrating a single Clearview Expansion Ring, the Clearview Cassette doubles in height, integrating slack storage within the Cassette. As a result, the Clearview Cassette is now a self-contained 12-port port fiber management device that with the addition of mounting wings within the cable assembly tray is Wall-Mount capable. Deployed within a wiring closet or other secure location, Clearview Cassette 1.2 is the most cost-effective low-count self-contained (storage for buffer tube slack) fiber management device in the industry.
2) By integrating one or more Clearview Expansion Rings, the Clearview Cassette integrates any configuration of optical component devices. Now, whether you wish to support a single 1x32 splitter, two 1x16 splitters, four 1x8 splitters, a WDM unit or various configuration or most any other configuration you can dream up, the Clearview Cassette 1.2 provides the optical component package for all cable constructions and environments.
